For her third birthday, my niece asked for a shawl. I had made shawls for my mom and two of my sisters in the year prior, so it seems she decided shawls were the in thing to have. I asked what her favaourite colour was and she said “purple, pink, and yellow”

I’m fortunate to have many talented indy dyers nearby. This fibre came from the colour-genius Sarah at Sea Turtle Fiber Arts.

84% superwash merino, 16% stellina

Spun with a short forward draw from the end of the top. Chain-plied.

Soaked in warm water and snapped.
